After my most recent cock-up, i had truly reflected on life. I am not trying to be philosophical, but i realized that throughout this 14 years of gambling, i personally raised so many bookies, fed so many loansharks and credit card companies. But i hardly remember giving my mother or family members anything. Not even putting food on the table, or even a loaf of bread. I am so ashamed of myself. I am 36 years old now, and my future is gone. My family members will be taking action towards me and i probably have to serve some time in jail for CBT. I have only myself to blame. I am not blaming anybody but myself. I am lucky in a sense that my family doesn't require any financial assistance from me if i am to serve a jail sentence. But the amount of disappointment that i have caused them is unbelievable (now that i think of it). I know that they are angry with what i did, but i also know that they still love me and hope that i will find the right direction in life.
Ah Hock, i know that and i also believe that there are people out there who are disciplined and knowledgeable enough to make a living out of gambling and investing. i am not one of them. Neither are you (based on your usual "god-hating" posts. i hope my words will bring you to start thinking about quitting gambling, or at least keep it at a entertainment level. i believe that you are simply looking for that "life-saving" winning bet to start anew. Ah Hock, don't bother. that bet will never come. For all the bros out there, i hope my post doesn't get trolled. The urge to gamble is still very strong. I need all the encouragement that i can get. Thanks Bro. I dont really think much of NCPG. Afterall, my family did forced me to attend the counselling in the past. Most of the counsellors have a standard format and operating procedures.

I think the best way for me to quit and repent, is through discussion with fellow members. Remaining behind my laptop allows me to confess my ill deeds without having to face judgement from the people who reads it. By confessing, discussinh and receiving heartfelt replies from fellow gambling bros, seem to be working for me now.

Everytime the urge to gamble comes into my mind, i just tell myself... Not today. Maybe tomorrow, and try to keep myself busy.

Thank you for the heartfelt message and sound advice. i know that the road to recovery is long and difficult. All the non-gamblers can never understand me (a pathological gambler). Only fellow bros that are or was in the same situation truly understands.

By writing and confessing in this forum, receiving heartfelt messages from fellow bros really does help me emotionally. The replies and messages really does reach out to my heart. Thank you and all the other bros out there who sent me private messages to encourage me.

There is no light at the end of the tunnel for pathological gamblers like me. So i hope that my words will intrigue other pathological gamblers like me, to think and perhaps trace back their steps before they ruin it.

wow finally i got to read honest post,

well i have stop soccer betting for over 7-8 yrs, but since spool came back with online betting i started to bet, in the beginning i started small like 20-50 dollars, after than win abit abt 1k

now lost 4K in less than one month, cannot eat , cannot sleep proper lol

now trying hard to quit again, nearly wanted to draw from credit but hold back coz scare later wife finds out hahaha, sometimes its good to have a nagging wife.

My nagging wife helps me to think before i do any thing foolish hehehe

now i am leading a good life, but without excitment, but still better than in depts

hi, yes, i played at first world
of course cant compared to rws or mbs
also alot of 洗尼玛people,which i dont like
some pros turned gambler,women, like to oppose u when u sway

but this year may b they let me win again to develop greed gradually
so far this year +25k (including football)
perhaps still 20k to go
last year lost alot, may b around 45-50k

of course u can multiply your stake

borrowed money to bet is high risk
i lost back +3k yesterday and changed my own 3.5k again
at one point i was thinking, if lose this money i go down
lucky me
i recovered and won back in total +6k
