  		China national, 34, bites S'pore auxiliary police officer's finger & pinches another officer's thigh
The woman committed those offences while out bail for verbally abusing cabin crew on a flight from Indonesia.




A 34-year-old woman from China bit the finger of an auxiliary police officer in Singapore and made a scene at a hotpot restaurant while out on bail for a previous offence.

According to charge sheets, the defendant Wang Xiongjun has been sentenced to seven months' jail for her offences.


Wang filed an appeal on Sep. 25.

First offence
She committed her first offence on Mar. 28, 2025, while on a flight from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, to China with a transit in Singapore.

Wang verbally abused the cabin crew with vulgarities on her flight from Indonesia to Singapore.

She uttered "f*** you" towards crew members.

Upon arrival in Singapore, Wang was arrested for committing an offence under Section 38(1)(b) of the Air Navigation Act 1966.

However, she was arrested for more offences while out on bail.

Offending on bail
At around 8am on Apr. 18, 2025, Wang was arrested for wilfully trespassing at the A&E of Singapore General Hospital.

  		Charge sheets stated that she remained there without a satisfactory excuse.

On Apr. 19 at about 11:41pm, while in lock-up at the New Bridge Road Police Cantonment Complex, Wang bit and injured the right index finger of a female auxiliary police officer.

Investigations revealed that the female auxiliary police officer had asked Wang to hand over her mask.

However, Wang refused to cooperate.

8world reported that when the female auxiliary police officer reached out to take the mask, Wang suddenly bit her index finger and refused to let go.

Other officers who witnessed this immediately grabbed Wang's shoulders and tried to force her mouth open.

However, Wang refused to release her bite on the officer's finger.


More offences on bail
In addition, at around 3pm on Apr. 24, 2025, Wang visited Coucou Hotpot Restaurant in Jewel Changi Airport while out on bail.

Wang shouted at the manager and uttered "f***" to her.

She also broke two bowls and a plate.

This caused the restaurant to suffer losses of S$45.

She was arrested again and charged with being a public nuisance and committing mischief.

Wang was also charged with intent to cause harassment under the Protection from Harassment Act 2014.

8world reported that she also pinched another officer's thigh.

Expected release
According to 8world, after being convicted, Wang said that law enforcers should clearly explain their actions to the people instead of using authority and force to subdue them.

Wang also requested that her jail term be counted from her arrival in Singapore.

However, the judge said her seven-month jail term should begin from when she was remanded in custody.

Wang's earliest expected date of release is Nov. 2, 2025.
