DJ FX CHAT: Singapore Shares May Extend Gains; Test 3330 - SIAS
0051 GMT [Dow Jones] Singapore shares could extend their gains amid an uptick in global risk sentiment, after rising to their highest closing level in five years in an auspicious start to the Year of the Snake. The STI ended Wednesday up 0.9% at 3301.04. "With today's tone likely to remain upside biased, we could see the index testing and potentially overcoming the 3330 resistance level, with a midterm price objective of 3370," SIAS Research says in a note. Penny stocks, which have dominated trading in recent weeks, could continue to hold sway.
